How to Submit

Authors should submit their manuscripts by email to the editorial office:

Manuscript submission email: editassist@landscarchitmag.org

When submitting a manuscript, authors are requested to use a clear email subject line, such as:

Authors submitting LaTeX manuscripts should include the main .tex file, bibliography file if applicable, figures, tables, style files, and a compiled PDF version for review.

Manuscript Requirements

Submitted manuscripts should be written in clear academic English and should be complete enough for editorial review. At the initial submission stage, the journal does not require a strict template; however, the manuscript should be consistently formatted and easy to evaluate.

  • All authors have approved the submission

  • All references are complete and consistently formatted

  • All figures and tables are cited in the text

  • Third-party material is properly credited and used with permission where required

Peer Review

All suitable manuscripts submitted to Landscape Architecture are considered through a single-blind peer review process. In this process, reviewers know the identity of the authors, but reviewer identities are not disclosed to the authors.

After initial editorial screening, manuscripts may be sent to qualified reviewers for evaluation. Reviewers assess the manuscript’s originality, scholarly contribution, methodology, clarity, ethical compliance, relevance, and suitability for publication.

Editorial Decisions

Following editorial and peer-review assessment, authors may receive one of the following decisions:

  • Accept

  • Minor revision

  • Major revision

  • Revise and resubmit

  • Reject

If revision is requested, authors should submit a revised manuscript together with a response letter explaining how the editor’s and reviewers’ comments have been addressed.

Open Access and Publication Charges

Landscape Architecture is a diamond open access journal. Authors are not required to pay submission fees, article processing charges, publication fees, page charges, figure charges, or DOI registration fees.
