Landscape Architecture is a diamond open access journal committed to the widest possible dissemination of scholarly research. All articles published in the journal are made freely available online immediately upon publication.
Copyright Ownership
Authors retain copyright of their published work. The journal does not require authors to transfer copyright as a condition of publication.
By submitting and publishing an article in Landscape Architecture, the author(s) grant the journal the right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, archive, index, and identify the article as the version of record. This publishing right allows the journal to make the article permanently available through its website, indexing services, repositories, archives, and scholarly databases.
Open Access License
All articles published in Landscape Architecture are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, commonly known as CC BY 4.0.
Under this license, readers and users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, share, adapt, translate, text-mine, data-mine, and reuse the published material in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), the journal, and the published source.
Attribution Requirement

Author Rights
Authors may share, deposit, distribute, and reuse their published articles without requesting permission from the journal. Authors may post the published version of record on personal websites, institutional repositories, funder repositories, academic networking platforms, teaching materials, and other scholarly communication channels, provided that the original publication in Landscape Architecture is properly cited.
Third-Party Material
Authors are responsible for ensuring that any third-party material included in their manuscript, such as images, maps, figures, tables, photographs, drawings, plans, or reproduced text, is used with appropriate permission or under a suitable license.

The journal supports digital preservation, indexing, and long-term access to published scholarly content. Article metadata, including author information, title, abstract, keywords, references, publication details, and DOI, may be deposited with indexing databases, discovery services, repositories, and preservation platforms to support academic visibility and permanent access.
